Painting a landscape in the impressionist style using a masterpiece as a guide provides a great way to hone skills and view the world differently. Students of all levels are welcomed in this two-session workshop that provides the fundamentals of painting in oils: laying in light/darks; use of color; defining materials; learning brushstrokes; and studying form. Each student is provided and paints an 18” x 24” gallery-wrapped canvas. Oil paints, brushes and easels are available for use during the workshop. No prior experience is necessary in this workshop limited to eight (8) students.
