The Redbud Valley Nature Preserve will be reopening for a limited time to preregistered visitors on the last weekend of November.

Visitors will be able to choose from two-time slots per day: 9 a.m. to noon and 1 to 4 p.m. Unlike previous openings, there will be no guided group hikes. However, naturalists will be present along the trails to oversee the event, assist guests, and share information and knowledge and the Preserve with visitors.

Reservations will be granted on a first-come, first-served basis.

Registrations should be made per vehicle for groups of 1-6 people. When registering, please specify the exact number of people in your group. Tulsa Parks will accept registrations until the day of the event if there are any open spots available.

To successfully preserve the land and the wildlife that inhabit the area, the City has agreed to follow a set of rules that all participants must follow during the opening.

Some of these rules include:

• Help protect the ecosystem by leaving no trace. Visitors are encouraged to ask guides where to dispose of trash and bring a pack to pick up any litter.
• It is highly recommended to hike Redbud Valley with a companion for safety reasons.
• NO DOGS are allowed in the Preserve.
• The Preserve's hiking trails are challenging and not accessible to wheelchairs or strollers. Visitors should carefully consider their needs before planning a visit.
