WaterWorks Art Center is a unique place to spend some shared quality time with someone special! Learn a new skill, get creative, and take home a custom hand-crafted ceramic piece you make together to remember your great experience and create a gift for a special person in your life. Resident Teaching Artist, Yusuf Etudaiye, provides each couple with step-by-step instruction, all project materials as well as selects the glaze applied after your piece has dried and is bisquefired. Glaze kiln firing completes the process, and your work of art is ready to pick up a week later. Be sure to wear comfortable clothing or bring an apron/smock. No previous experience is necessary – just come with an enthusiastic attitude and your creative clay partner!
