A crisp autumn day outdoors requires a hat, gloves, or a headband to keep us warm. These fall fashion items can be an expression of much more when embellished with your own felted creation. The first day of this two-day workshop focuses on basic needle felting techniques. The second day features methods to detail, outline, blend colors, and finish your choice of a knit cap, cuffs for wrist-length gloves, or a headband. Students receive a kit with assorted needles, roving, and more to enable them to enjoy adventures in needle felting at home. A kit fee of $25 (payable to the instructor) provides all the necessary materials. All skill levels are welcome – no experience is necessary.
